Chris Cuomo is going back in on Bill O’Reilly a day after they locked horns over Sen. Jon Ossoff’s (D-Ga.) comments about Donald Trump and his aide Natalie Harp.

During his Thursday night NewsNation appearance, Cuomo turned quickly to his dustup with O’Reilly days earlier, after the longtime Republican talking head said he’d rather vote for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin than for Ossoff. Days later, the NewsNation host still couldn’t believe the hypocrisy.

“Seriously. They’re banking on voters dismissing the robust arguments that will be coming at them from Democrats like Sen. Jon Ossoff by painting them as radicals,” Cuomo said. “Commies freaks right? But also get this: rude.”

He added: “He was being serious. He was actually getting upset that I wouldn’t accept that complete bunch of hypocrisy. Admit I did a good job keeping my face straight, though. Come on. For most of it. Because what a pathetic joke this is now. They want to talk about decency. So my question is, let’s bring in a critical thinker here who supports this administration. And make the case that MAGA hasn’t lost the plot.”

O’Reilly made the initial comment about voting for Putin during Tuesday’s episode of his show “No Spin News,” days after Ossoff made now-viral comments about President Donald Trump and his close relationship with his longtime aide Natalie Harp. O’Reilly called the remark a “gutter snipe statement.”

“You don’t get lower than that. This is the lowest you go,” O’Reilly said. “This woman is working for her country, whether you like the Trump administration or not. She has no history of doing anything untoward — none.”

He added: “This Ossoff, I would not vote for – I’d vote for Putin over Ossoff. That’s how bad this guy Ossoff is. Believe me, if I were President Trump, I’d be combing everything that Ossoff’s ever done – ever done – for doing this.”

Cuomo originally pushed back on O’Reilly. He was shocked that O’Reilly would actually say he’d choose to vote for the dictator over Ossoff based on a comment — particularly when Trump has a long history of saying much worse to female journalists.

“You said you’d rather vote for Putin,” Cuomo asked. “You’d vote for Vladimir Putin, who is a murderer. You’d vote for a murderer over a U.S. Senator.”

“Well, when you frame it that way I might stay home,” O’Reilly replied.

“Probably a good call, Bill,” Cuomo hit back.
