Megyn Kelly delivered the heartbreaking news to Republican South Dakota Senate candidate Annette Bosworth that she lost her race live on the air Tuesday evening.
“Well, um, that’s news to me, I didn’t know that,” Bosworth said.
“Really?” Kelly asked.
“I didn’t know, I found out on national television,” Bosworth said.

The failed candidate continued through the segment, clearly distraught.
“I’m sorry to break the news to you,” Kelly said.
A representative for Fox News has not yet returned TheWrap’s request for comment.
