Coach Roz Washington is heading back to McKinley High, as NeNe Leakes is returning for the sixth and final season of Fox’s “Glee.”

She made her first appearance during the third season, when she went toe-to-toe with Jane Lynch‘s Coach Sue Sylvester, and has made occasional appearances since then. Her most recent appearance came during Season 5, where she helped the cheerleading squad take first place at Nationals.

With Sue firmly ensconced as the principal, Roz will likely continue her role as cheerleading coach in the show’s final season, which brings the action back to McKinley High to say farewell.

Leakes will appear in at least one episode for Season 6, an individual with knowledge of the situation confirmed for TheWrap. Filming is expected to occur next month.
