The TNT crime drama “Perception” is no more.
The network has canceled the series after three seasons.
The show starred Eric McCormack as neuropsychiatrist Dr. Daniel J. Pierce, who’s tapped by the FBI as a consultant for complex cases.
McCormack broke the news via Twitter on Thursday, writing, “A sad day: Daniel Pierce will lecture no more. Thank you #Perception fans, and our great crew, for 3 amazing seasons. Shoulda been more…”
A spokeswoman for TNT confirmed the cancellation to TheWrap.
The network, which former Fox executive Kevin Reilly took over as president earlier this month, has recently been in housecleaning mode. In addition to the “Dallas” reboot, which TNT canceled earlier this year, the network canceled “Franklin & Bash,” which starred Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer on Tuesday after four seasons.
