Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Fox News Hiatus Due to Surgery (Video)

Kimberly Guilfoyle took her place on “Fox and Friends” Wednesday morning

“Fox and Friends” co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck was not on Wednesday morning’s show after undergoing surgery for an undisclosed issue.

“In case you were wondering where Elisabeth is today and this week, well, she had some surgery yesterday and she’s going to be out for a couple of weeks. But, she’s doing just fine, she’s on the mend,” co-host Steve Doocy said on-air.

In her place was Kimberly Guilfoyle, normally seen on the Fox News program, “The Five.”

“She is strong, she is tough, and a better athlete than me,” co-host Brian Kilmeade said about Hasselbeck. “We heard from her last night and she said she is feeling good. So, in a short time, she’ll be back on the set.”
