The scene left on the cutting room floor, but included on Blu-ray, shows Hazel going through a TSA security checkpoint for the first time in her life before flying to Amsterdam with her mother (Laura Dern) and the love of her teenage life, Gus (Ansel Elgort).

“Fault in Our Stars,” an adaptation of a best-selling John Green novel about two teens who meet at a cancer support group and fall in love, was a box office hit when released in theaters last June.
