Fox is going into business with “30 Rock” writer Colleen McGuinness.

The network has ordered a script for a half-hour comedy from McGuinness. The script, which was ordered with a penalty attached, will follow a 25-year-old woman who works at a frozen yogurt shop and whose life is going nowhere – until she discovers she is telekinetic.

The project will be produced by Universal Television and Pearl Street Films. McGuinness will write and executive produce, with Pearl Street’s Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Todd also executive producing.

McGuinness, who wrote for the sixth and seventh seasons of NBC’s “30 Rock,” has also created an untitled comedy pilot which is executive produced by her “30 Rock” colleagues Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, and she was a supervising producer on the NBC series “About a Boy” last season.
