“The Good Wife” and “Ringer” actor stars as new character Jameson Locke in the five-part original series set between the events of “Halo 4” and the forthcoming “Halo 5: Guardians”
One of the most popular video game franchises in history is finally coming to life thanks to Ridley Scott‘s Scott Free Productions and Microsoft's 343 Industries. The companies released the first trailer for their ambitions five-part saga set between the fourth and fifth games of the “Halo” series.
“Halo: Nightfall” introduces a new character to the franchise, Jameson Locke, portrayed by “The Good Wife's” Mike Colter. In the series, Locke leads a team of elite soldiers on a mission to find an ancient and dangerous artifact after a devastating biological attack.
The five-part saga will be packaged as part of Microsoft's “The Master Chief Collection,” compiling remastered versions of the first four games in the blockbuster series.
“Halo: Nightfall” was written by “Prison Break” creator Paul Scheuring, and costars Christina Chong, Luke Neal, and Steve Waddington, and will have the dubious honor of being one of the few projects that will still reach completion after the abrupt shutdown of Xbox Entertainment Studios.
