Paramount debuted a red-band trailer for “Hot Tub Time Machine 2” at Comic-Con Thursday, and the sequel looks even raunchier than the original.
It starts off with a literal bang when Rob Corddry, who reprises his role as Lou, gets shot in the genitals. Craig Robinson and Clark Duke also return from the original, and quickly decide Lou’s life and penis can only be saved if the three of them wade back into the whirling waters of their magical time-traveling hot tub.

Something goes wrong, however, as it so often does. Perhaps it’s the unexplained absence of John Cusack? Either way, our stars don’t go back in time — they travel to 2024 instead.
Directed by Steve Pink, the sequel plays up the sudden aging of its characters for laughs. Robinson has a silver streak in his hair, Corddry has a Gandalf-esque beard, and Duke? Well… “You look like Billy Zane’s d**k,” says Robinson. Adds Corddry, “Except not as pretty.”

Duke considers it. “That’s fair,” he says.
“Hot Tub Time Machine 2” also stars Adam Scott of “Parks and Recreation” fame, who falls victim to a freaky future drug that causes him to wig out.
“Hot Tub Time Machine 2” hits theaters on Dec. 25, 2014.
