“It's a story about Doris, this character, she's an older woman,” Greenfield said. “Her mother passes away and she's then forced to kind of find a new life in the city, and she meets this younger guy and thinks that he's the answer.”

The older woman has yet to be cast.

“It's very funny, but it really kind of toes the line. It'll be different than what you're used to [seeing] with him,” he teased.

Greenfield is currently in New York for the Tribeca Film Festival, where he's promoting the friendship dramedy “About Alex,” which co-stars Aubrey Plaza, Jason Ritter, Max Minghella, Maggie Grace and Jane Levy.
