Ratings: NBC Easily Tops Tuesday With ‘Talent’

CW’s “Famous in Twelve” debuts soft

NBC dominated primetime with “America’s Got Talent” and “Night Shift,” the two highest-rated shows on Tuesday night.

ABC finished second in the key ratings demo with an up “Celebrity Wife Swap” finale. For The CW, “Famous in Twelve” debuted to a low 0.3 rating.

NBC was first with a 2.4 rating/8 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in viewers with an average of 9.8 million, according to preliminary numbers. At 8 p.m., “America’s Got Talent” earned a 2.8/10 and had 11.2 million viewers — both highs for the night. “The Night Shift” followed at 10 with a 1.5/5 and 7.2 million.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.2/4 and third in viewers with 3.9 million. At 8, “Extreme Weight Loss” had a 1.1/4 and 3.9 million viewers. “Celebrity Wife Swap” at 10 got a 1.4/5 and 4 million viewers in its season finale.

CBS and Univision tied for third in ratings, each with a 1.0/3. CBS was second in viewers with 7.3 million, airing entirely reruns. Univision was fourth in viewers with 2.5 million.

Telemundo was fifth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.5 million.

Fox was sixth in ratings with a 0.4/2 and in total viewers with 1.1 million. “Riot” at 8 had a 0.4/2 and 1.2 million viewers. “I Wanna Marry Harry” at 9 got a 0.4/1 and 1 million viewers.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and seventh in total viewers with 724,000. At 8, the premiere of “Famous in Twelve” had a 0.3/1 and 728,000 viewers. A rerun followed.
