Sherri Shepherd is heading back to “The View.”

The former regular co-host has closed her deal to come back to the ABC talker as a contributor, a move that TheWrap previously reported was in the works. Shepherd was previously a co-host on the program for seven seasons, before departing with friend Jenny McCarthy last summer.

Under the terms of her new deal, Shepherd is expected to be a big part of the rotating stable, which will also likely include Stacy London and Molly Sims, among others. Outgoing co-host Nicolle Wallace may return in a contributing role.

As TheWrap exclusively reported, Michelle Collins is joining “The View” as a permanent co-host for the upcoming Season 19. Whoopi Goldberg and Raven-Symone will also be back; Rosie Perez will not be.

“The View” is in talks with Candace Cameron Bure and Paula Faris to take Perez’s and Wallace’s permanent positions next season.
