House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) was upset in the Republican primary by Tea Party candidate Dave Brat, leaving many wondering, “Who is this guy?”
According to Stephen Colbert‘s research, “total eye candy.”
To learn more about the Randolph-Macon College economics professor who won the race largely due to his strong opposition to illegal immigration, the “Colbert Report” host turned to one of the most trusted resources on the web, RateMyProfessor.com.
“He is a great teacher. Reviewers on RateMyProfessor.com have noted that ‘he’s total eye candy,’ ‘he is so charming you forget to be mad at him,’ and ‘at least he’s hot,'” Colbert said. “Yes he is. I wouldn’t kick him out of the bed for kicking Mexicans out of the country.”
Watch the segment (above) to learn more about Brat, who will face off against a Democratic Randolph-Macon College professor for Cantor’s seat in the House of Representatives.
“I don’t know much about that college, but all of their professors seem to be looking for other jobs,” Colbert joked.
