Philadelphia police have arrested and charged a man believed to be responsible for killing one member of rapper Nicki Minaj‘s tour team and leaving another injured.

A spokesperson for the Philadelphia Police Department told TheWrap that Pierce Boykin, 31, was arrested on Monday following a bar fight in the City of Brotherly love last Wednesday.

The Philadelphia resident has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, and related offenses.

Victim Devon Pickett, 29, sustained multiple stab wounds to his torso and died as a result. The other, identified as 27-year-old Eric Parker, suffered multiple stab wounds to his left arm and left flank. He remains in critical condition at the Albert Einstein Medical Center.

Minaj, who said, “They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour” before the incident, mourned the loss on Instagram last week.

“Unbelievable,” Minaj wrote with a picture of the victims. “Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad.”
