“The Daily Show” just won the Donald Trump vs. McDonald’s Twitter-reaction contest that none of us even knew we were having.
Trevor Noah’s team remixed an old commercial for the fast-food joint, when the current President of the United States was a pitchman for Chicken McNuggets and the like.
“I’ve put together some really impressive deals,” Trump begins the un-doctored portion of the clip. “But this thing you’ve pulled off — it’s amazing!
He continues: “A Big and Tasty for just $1 — how did you do it, what’s your secret?”
Grimus’ updated response was, um, not soft and cuddly — and it was more blue than purple.
We don’t want to ruin the joke of the Comedy Central show’s bit, so just watch the video via the tweet below. But probably don’t do it in front of your kids or boss, unless you’re wearing headphones.

The McDonald’s Corporation’s official Twitter account posted the following this morning: “@realDonaldTrump You are actually a disgusting excuse of a President and we would love to have @BarackObama back, also you have tiny hands.”
Shortly thereafter, the Big Mac company issued a statement saying its account “was compromised.” That didn’t stop Trump supporters from vowing to boycott the Shamrock Shake destination, however.
It also didn’t stop Jon Stewart’s old stomping-ground from having a little fun with the whole thing, thank goodness.
