Bill Maher thinks he knows the secret to Hillary Clinton’s pathway to the White House in 2016. Disappearing.
“My advice to Hillary, just go away. Go away for a while. We’re going to see each other in a couple of years — a lot,” Maher said (above) during his HBO show on Friday. “Just go away, because otherwise you’re going to blow this.”
The host of “Real Time” gave the advice while discussing the flood of publicity that has come her way since gearing up to release her second memoir, “Hard Choices.” During a stop at ABC News during the recent press tour, Clinton said she and her presidential husband, Bill, “came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt.”
“They’re trying to keep walking this back, ” Maher said. “People say that Hillary being out there with her book tour, talking about all this stuff, it’s going to inoculate her. There’s a fine line between inoculate and we’re sick of you.”
