‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 12 Finale Crowns a Winner

NBC summer staple wrapped up another highly rated run on Wednesday

“America’s Got Talent” has crowned a winner: 13-year old Darci Lynne Farmer, the singing ventriloquist from Oklahoma City. 10-year-old Atlanta-based singer Angelica Hale is runner-up.

The show wrapped up yet another wildly popular run on Wednesday as it crowned its latest winner during the Season 12 finale.

The 10 remaining acts performed for the final time during the first part of the NBC variety show’s finale on Tuesday.

Those still in the mix ahead of Wednesday’s episode were: singer Evie Clair, dancers Diavolo, singer Chase Goehring, singer Angelica Hale, singer Mandy Harvey, comedian Preacher Lawson, dance troupe Light Balance, singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer, singer Kechi and animal act Sara and Hero.

The stars participating in the finale included Kelly Clarkson, Shania Twain, Derek Hough, James Arthur, Kevin Nealon, Jeff Dunham and Season 2 champ Terry Fator.

This season’s judges were Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B and Heidi Klum.
