‘The 100’s’ Isaiah Washington and the Ark Prepare to Say Goodbye (Exclusive Video)

“We won’t say goodbye to it completely until that story is wrapped up,” The CW show’s EP Jason Rothenberg tells TheWrap

If you think the Season 1 finale of The CW’s “The 100” said goodbye to the Ark and Chancellor Jaha Wells once and for all, think again.

In this exclusive clip (above) from Wednesday’s Season 2 premiere, Jaha (Isaiah Washington) is seen alive and well, although alone and resigned to his fate, still aboard the floating Ark that once carried all of Earth’s surviving human population.

“We have a primary character who’s up on the Ark,” the show’s executive producer Jason Rothenberg told TheWrap as to whether we’ll see the doomed space station again. “We won’t say goodbye to it completely until that story is wrapped up.”

Which is to say, that story is not quite as concluded as the finale had made it seem.

Rothenberg also teased that we could see the Ark again later on in flashbacks, but for the time being, Jaha is utilizing the last of the space station’s power to try to communicate one more time with his Earth-bound friends.

“The 100” Season 2 premieres on Wednesday, Oct 22 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
