“Euphoria” fans are staying on the Season 3 roller coaster ride.
Episode 2, which debuted Sunday, gathered 8.5 million viewers in its first three days of availability, keeping even with the numbers for Season 3 premiere last week and up 32% from the 6.4 million Episode 2 of Season 2 gathered back in 2022.
The network also announced Thursday the Season 3 premiere has now reached 20 million viewers globally, a 68% increase from the Season 2 premiere in the same timeframe. The episode has also reached 12.3 million viewers and counting.
Overall, “Euphoria” Season 3 is pacing among the top 3 HBO seasons in platform history in the U.S. and globally. The show also ranks among the top 3 most popular current series on the HBO Max platform.
The network touted #Euphoria dominating social conversation Sunday night, spending 12 hours within X’s Top 10 in the U.S. and reaching No. 1 for multiple hours.
With a several year time jump from last season, Season 3 sees Rue and the rest of the main cast all grown up, wrestling with “the virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption and the problem of evil,” per the logline.
Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie and Maude Apatow return for Season 3 alongside the late Eric Dane, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Colman Domingo, Dominic Fike, Nika King, Alanna Ubach, Sophia Rose Wilson, Melvin Bonez Estes, Daeg Faerch, Paula Marshall, Zak Steiner and Marsha Gambles.
