Australian rapper Iggy Azalea and British singer-songwriter Rita Ora joined forces Sunday to perform “Black Widow” at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.
“This is the web, web that you weave/ So baby now rest in peace,” sang Ora and the arachnid theme was clear: Ora and Azalea both wore black jumpsuits embroidered with webs, the backdrop for the stage was a giant spiderweb and even the duo’s backup dancers wore webbing over their faces.

Ora wasn’t up for any 2014 VMAs, but Azalea was nominated for a slew of them, including Video of the Year, Best Female, Best Pop, Best Collaboration. Her collaboration with Ariana Grande — “Problem” — netted them the Best Pop song Moonman.
