Tempers flared on “The View” following reports that NBC’s Dr. Nancy Snyderman was spotted Thursday in a parking lot of a New Jersey restaurant, violating her quarantine after coming in contact with a confirmed case of Ebola.
“It’s pretty dumb. I’m sorry, it’s pretty dumb,” said co-host Whoopi Goldberg on Monday morning.

Snyderman, the Chief Medical Editor at NBC news, is now under a mandatory quarantine, enforced by the Princeton Police Department and the Princeton Health Department. As TheWrap previously reported, a cameraman working with Snyderman tested positive for the deadly virus in early October. The NBC news crew agreed to a voluntary quarantine upon their return from West Africa. Snyderman was allegedly seen outside Peasant Grill in Hopewell, N.J. wearing sunglasses. Due to Syderman’s violation, the original “voluntary” quarantine issued by New Jersey officials to the entire NBC news crew was changed Friday to a “mandatory” quarantine.

“I just thought that that was so irresponsible,” co-host Rosie Perez said. “Whether she knows if she’s infected or not, you just don’t do that. You don’t put fear into the public when you’re a public figure.”
Snyderman is believed to have never entered the restaurant, instead having a man from her car go inside to pick up a takeout order.

“You had no business,” Goldberg said. “That’s why they make a telephone. Maybe Nancy, you don’t know this. You can call and say, ‘Hey, can you deliver?’ They will deliver food for you. What the hell, Nancy?!”
